12-month booking history in approvals
Approving time off? You'll now see how many days the employee has booked for the same reason over the past 12 months, and how many days the pending request adds on top. It shows up in booking details, the approval queue, and assigned tasks. Enable it per policy in time-off settings.
Decimals in hourly time-off policies
Hourly time-off policies now accept decimals. Annual allocation, carry-over, tenure-based accrual, document thresholds, negative-balance limits and max-accrued caps all take values like 7.5 or 20.75.
AI Chat is now open to everyone
AI Chat is now available to all roles on desktop & mobile app. Ask about your balance, your team, or your next review and get an answer that's tailored to you.
Heads-up when a review is submitted
No more checking Shapes to see who's filed their reviews. The moment an employee submits a self-review, or a peer submits a review about them, the cycle manager gets an instant notification by Email, Slack DM or Teams DM. One click and you're reading what came through.
Reviews and Surveys on mobile
Performance reviews and surveys are now in the Shapes mobile app. Complete your self-review, fill in a peer review, or answer a survey from your phone. Update to version 1.1.14 from the App Store or Google Play to get them.
Batch nudge for workflow tasks
Chasing one task at a time? Not anymore. Tick the new checkboxes on multiple workflow tasks and hit Nudge in the floating actions bar to ping every assignee at once.
AI Chat now reads the Help Center
Wondering "how do I set up a time-off policy?" or "how does the performance review cycle work?" Just ask AI Chat. It now searches the Shapes Help Center alongside your live data and KB files, cites the source, and links you to the full article.
Mobile AI chat upgrade
Your AI chat on mobile just got a proper upgrade. Chat history is now saved so you can pick up where you left off, tables render correctly and messages support markdown formatting. Cleaner, faster, more useful — wherever you are.
